Terms and Conditions

All room rates and menu prices may be subject to change without notice.

Discount available only for long stay residents paying in full and in advance. - Minimum of one month payment for a room must be made on, or before check-in.

No food or drinks allowed from outside of the establishment, except for babies.

All outstanding bills must be cleared before departure.

Neither rooms nor keys are transferable.

Only name written on receipt + one guest permitted to stay in room.

All damaged, lost or stolen items will be charged automatically.

Leaving valuables in the rooms as well as car parking in the compound or on the road are done at owner's risk.

Check-in time is 12 pm

Check-out time is 11am-11:15 am

Always retain your receipt and show it, if requested, as proof of payment.

Reservations are confirmed or kept, upon full payment only!

Cancellations are only acceptable 48 hours prior to the date the room/suite was reserved for.

A 20 per cent admin charge will be deducted from the first day’s booking once cancellation has been effected. Failure to cancel at the appropriate time means each consecutive day the room is not occupied, the room will be charged for and deducted in full, from the payment made up and until the time cancellation is made, or the booking expires.

No cancellations or refunds for same day bookings after 3 pm and for which, a 20 per cent deduction will be made.

All guests must pay the necessary deposit for a room.

Guests wishing to delay departure for up to 4 hours will be charged a supplementary fee. Please see the receptionist for details. For those guests wishing to stay longer, 100 per cent will be charged.

Up to two guests only per room. Additional guests will attract automatic surcharge of N4,000 (maximum ONE per room and in The Executive Rooms Only). This surcharge also applies to children over 12 years. Two children up to 12 years of age are permitted to stay with their parents in The Executive Rooms only free of charge.

Named guests only permitted to use the booked room/suite. Any other person(s) will NOT be permitted to use the room. Keys MUST be left before departing The AGL. Lost keys or destruction of any of The AGL’s property will be charged for.

PETS

No pets allowed.

VALUABLES

The African Garden Lodge cannot be held responsible for any valuables left in the room.

Please leave any valuable with the general manager.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Food form outside The African Garden Lodge will no be permitted in ANY of the rooms, bars or common areas, except The African Haven, and for infants.

CAR HIRE SERVICE

For airport pick-ups/drops, The AGL Executive Honda Odyssey is available. This vehicle is also available with a driver, for any daily bookings. Please contact the general manager for assistance.

CAR PARKING

The guest is allowed to park his/her car within the compound. The guest’s visitor(s) must park on the road outside the gates. Due to the fact that the parking area is limited, only one car per room will be permitted, a second car will have to be parked on Omofade Crescent.

Always refer to our 'Condtions of Service' on back of receipt. All rooms are fitted with a safe box - please use it or leave valuables with the General Manager.
